Georgetown Cruising Regatta

So we are hanging in Georgetown for the cruising Regatta - Zusammen raced admirably on Thursday with a crew from Osprey (Johnny) Chere (Sam) Mutual Fun (Randy) Rhapsody (Skip) and Tyler, our first mate.  It was Tyler's vocabulary lesson day ;-)  We had a blast in light (~12kts) wind and flat conditions and took second place.  A Taswell 43, Annania from Annapolis, took honors.

We prepped Zusammen by rafting up with Osprey and clearing her decks.  Tyler went aloft for a quick check and snapped a picture.  It was great seeing Zusammen's decks again.  We all commented "hey, there's a sailboat under all of this gear!"

Awards ceremony isn't until Saturday - we're hoping to get some schwag from the sponsors.  We'll see if we are still here.  We weren't planning on it, but there is a significant wind event on the way and we may see wind over 30 for more than a couple of days.  It should prove interesting if it happens.... We may well be here a week.

2 PM today the kids have a treasure hunt birthday party for Bird on Osprey with a bunch of the kids in the harbor.  Lex and Tyler are both playing at Beach Church on Sunday.  Tyler's debut Exuma public performance.
