Black Point, Exuma

We left Staniel Cay today after spending 3 nights there in a great protected harbor, but with about 100 other boats of all sizes. We sailed a few miles south to Black Point, which is a small community of about 250, with a beautiful harbor, with only 4 other boats. Perfect! They have a laundromat which I plan on visiting tomorrow, and a restaurant with internet, which is where we are now. We will be here for a couple of days I think.

The highlight of Staniel Cay was definately the swimming pigs. Its really unbelievable. We will post pictures and videos as soon as we can.  We also had some great snorkeling, saw rays, nurse sharks, tons of fish, and beautiful reef.  A bunch of friends we've met along the way were all there too, so it was fun to see them again.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Hi big and little schnaucks - Hapy new year to you all. I too look forward to viewing the swimming pigs; whatever next?
We spent NYE in Wales in driving and torrential rain but were very cosy in front of wood stove and plenty of champagne etc with good friends. LAAxx
